Isn't it every child's dream to bring home stray animals? We just ran across some turtles in the pasture and both the boys' first instinct was to "bring them to the house". For what? What will you do with them? "I dunno..." Mike can live out his animal hoarding fantasies through literature (he just finished "Kildee House" by Rutherford Montgomery) and we'll leave the real animals in situ.
